What's in your heart about it? It's hard to believe that was 10 yrs ago. What I remember most are the photos of the two killers right before they went on their rampage. They looked demon-possessed to me. Do you think that's possible?

I still wonder about the parents of the killers. How they ignored the signs--the hate and death decore in their rooms, their withdrawal, the legal problems in the year before the rampage. I don't know their personal situation, but TO ME it shows the problems with contemporary parenting... the focus on being a friend instead of a Godly, disciplining parent.

Thoughts?

Thanks for posting this, TPW!

I can't believe its been 10 years - wow!

The whole event had a profound impact on me. I've read Rachel's Tears and She said, 'Yes!' (the biographies of Rachel Scott and Cassie Bernall), and I got to hear Darryl Scott (Rachel's father) speak at my church.

To address your questions....

What's in your heart about it? It's hard to believe that was 10 yrs ago. What I remember most are the photos of the two killers right before they went on their rampage. They looked demon-possessed to me. Do you think that's possible?

I read the testimonies from two of the students who were in the library, both separately say that when Eric and Dylan entered the room, they literally felt the presence of evil come with them.

So yes, I completely agree that they were demon possessed. And personally, I don't believe anyone can be so capable of such evil without being so.

I agree there is a problem with "contemporary" parenting. But the problem goes deeper than this. Teens these days are influenced so much by their peers, by Hollywood, by the music industry, by advertisement - most of which has an ungodly bent to it.

But for those who want to point fingers at the parents (I'm not saying you are; I'm just making a note of it), I have to ask - How well do you know your children?

And if you aren't a parent, I have to ask - What do you know?

I can only imagine the torture their souls have gone through since that day.

ThePastorWife I too am very impress with Rachel, I just hope if I'm ever in a similiar situation as Rachel was that I don't denied my God and Savior.

IMO the boys where possessed by demons, that why they killed Rachel when she said she believed in God.
