If we woke up tomorrow, and Israel had just disappeared off the face of the planet; not a Jew living in the territories or in Israel, the Palestinians would turn on themselves. All they have is their irrational hatred and it has to have a target. It is in their blood and it is their righteousness. When there was no Jew left in Gaza, they started murdering each other. who gets it. A Palestinian nation would just end up imploding on its self.

Is this your version of "They're all pigs and apes?"; a hate filled irrational racist tirade from someone accusing Palestinians of doing the same, ironic, but sad.

No it is not the same as saying they are all apes and pigs. Nothing I said can be construed as pertaining to ethnicity or race. I am referring to observable behavior.

The fact is it is they have already demonstrated what I have said is true. When they don't have Israel to assail, they turn on each other. The power struggle between Fatah and Hamas is evidence of the truth of what I say. Even during Arafat's day, those not deemed militant enough were shot in the street as "conspirators with Israel." The Palestinians have demonstrated that they could not run a country if they had one. Their entire culture is based entirely on self-destructive behavior and an agenda of death and hate. When Israel withdrew from Gaza, they left behind 3,000 fully functional greenhouses and over 60 farms WITH the equipment to run them not to mention buildings, housing and everything needed for a strong infrastructure on which to build a future nation. What did the Palestinians do??? They burned everything down; torched whole thing. What could have been used to provide food and employment for thousands of Palestinians was burned to the ground by the Palestinians. Nations have been throwing money at them, but the corrupt leadership did not use the money for the purpose of building a Palestinian nation. In fact, the money cannot be found or accounted for. Gaza descended into gang/turf wars. That had nothing to do with Israel. Israel cannot be blamed for what the Palestinians did to themselves.

Yet people like you only find your outrage when you think you can pin their problems on Israel. You always try to find a way no matter how irresponsible, wreckless, murderous or belligerant the Palestinians are to blame their problems on Israel. You always seek to find a way to keep the Palestinians from having to take responsibility for themselves and for the choices and decisions they have made that have brought them to where they are. They have chosen to raise their children on irrational hatred.

When all you have been raised on is hate, that is all that comes out and this is evident in how they behave. I watched a news broadcast where they were allowed to interview palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. More than once when asked about the fact that their actions resulted in the deaths of innocennt children, their response was "what's wrong with that??? They are Jews; they are not human." When asked what they would do if let out of prison, their response was that they would kill more Jews. Those prisoners are not victims of "oppression." They are the oppressors. When given the opportunity, they did not wax eloquent about building a free and peaceful nation. Their goal was to find another opportunity to kill as many people as possible. They demonsrated by the words of their mouths WHY they were in prison. They recognize no moral restrictions on thier behavior.

The truth is that Hamas, Fatah and the terrorist organizations and indeed the Arab world is not really interested in building a Palestinian nation. Building that nation has been used a pretext for villifying Isarel in the media, and also as pretext for launching terrorist attacks. Building a Palestinian nation has been used to create a moral context for terrorism by relabeling it as resistance whenever Israel is the target for those attacks. They are not genuinely interested in building a Palestinian nation, but in destroying the Israeli nation.

The alleged need of the Palestinians for a nation does not necessitate a moral obligation on the part of Israel to provide it. Israel did not cause the Palestinians to become refugees. They became refugees as the result of a war started by 6 Arab nations in an attempt to destroy Israel. Israel is under no moral obligation and certainly has no incentive, as long as the terrorist attacks continue, to resolve a refugee crisis they did not create. They are also under no obligation to agree to any peace proposals so long as the Palestinian leadership continues to foment a state of belligerance with the nation and people of Israel.

The problem here, amor, is that you are not really honest about the Palestinians or Israel and you cannot be trusted to have a rational debate on the issue. The Palestinian people are not victims of Israeli oppression. The government of Israel has bent over backwards, more than any other nation on this planet to improve the living conditions of the Palestinians.

For instance, in Israel, there is an medical humanitarian organization called "Save a Child's Heart" (SACH) that offers free help to children with heart problems from all over the world and over 1,000 of the children they have provided care to are Palestinian children. The latest recipient is 12 year old Gaida Nofal, from Nablus. Her story can be found on www.saveachildsheart.com

Israel's detractors like you ignore organizations in Israel like SACH because it doesn't help you build your case that Israel is an oppressive regime. SACH shows us a much more complex reality than you possess the integrity or honesty to acknowledge. SACH shows us a county and a people that live in that country who are reaching out to the Palestinians with compassion.

Very well said Shiloh...everything is precisely as you have described....how do I know?...I like several others have been there, have lived there, have seen first hand the unnatural hatred of so many Palestinians, been in very awkward life-threatening situations, and have still taken time to listen to both Palestinians and Israelis. The media that reports about the 'conflict' is by and large biased against Israel, and seeks to hide and nullify important aspects of what Israel does to help all the Arab people...the press prefers to concern itself with half-truths, headline-grabbers and moral equivalency....but how hard it is to convince anyone about any of these things if they will not look at the facts, and are more easily persuaded by and prefer the hasbara of Islamic extremists....they are like those who stuck their fingers in their ears when Stephen was speaking, rushed up to him and stoned him to death.
