I agree with some of the President's ideas about fighting China on unfair trade practices and artificial manipulation of the Yuan. Those are not socialist ideas...in fact, they're very pro-free market. I also agree with his stance on Iran. Like all Presidents....it's learn as you go at the White House. The islamic countries are very unhappy with him, especially because of Pakistan and Afghanistan. That's a plus for me; just like it was with President Bush.

Obama has threatened Iran with "more severe sanctions" and practically everything else save the demolition's wrecking ball to no avail. One strategic missile strike via unmanned drone can bring Muhammad's Ayatollahs back to a national 'half-sanity'. If not Washington, then give Israel the green light to help save itself in a sea of Muslim terrorists? Why all the perpetual bluster minus vital action, for action it will require.

Mostly because other western countries fight any attempts to rein in Iran. That has been changing lately though; just read the news coming out of Europe. As for Israel, the U.S. won't stop them from doing what they need to do, when they need to do it. It's all the diplomatic dance to avoid an oil crisis. Even the Saudis would only give lip service to outrage over bombing Iran. Things are not always what they seem, Arthur.
