Hormone treatments, artificial penis, breast implants--whatever is needed for an individual to change to the sex they desire to be. Our plan may not include these options, but eventually I foresee lawsuits to provide these options.

I don't want to see taxpayer dollars paying for perversion in this country.
Guest Butero
We certainly should be concerned about what this insurance would cover, but even more so, we should fear what it won't cover. Obama himself stated that some people may have to take a pain pill rather than receiving expensive treatment. Regardless of how it is downplayed, Sarah Palin is correct in saying there will be death panels. I can easily see a day coming where nationalized insurance will pay for a sex change operation, and deny someone treatment for a liver transplant. It would be left up to beurocrats in Washington. I go through vetrans affairs, for one reason I pay nothing for care. Here is my senary right now, I hurt my knee whent to the ER, one month later I recieved a letter to see an ortho doctor, by the time I get an MRI will be another month. and I fianally have surgery april 5. about 3 months I realy dont know if this is fast or in between but it seems long to me. Another thing once you start getting use to a doctor, forget it. You switch up doctors several times a year. I am not going to complain just letting people know. I can understand wanting med service for free. But it realy wasnt free for me it took 5 years in the army and serving during war time to recieve these benefits. Maybe all young adults should have to do a couple years of service to earn there health care.

Well then, instead of yelling or spitting at the cretins in Congress, we should go after them in every way legally possible. Washington can't handle massive civil unrest. It's just a matter of rallying the faithful. Faithful to the Constitution, that is.

But, when I was hit by a speeding car a few years ago, and my knee was fractured, it was about three months of tests, MRIs and a required second opinion before Blue Cross approved my knee surgery. When I think about it now it really wasn't all that speedy and I was in a lot of pain while the insurance system decided what they would pay for. They then sued the other driver's insurance to recoup the $12,000 they paid for the surgery. It doesn't sound like the veteran's care is any worse than Blue Cross except for the switching doctor's thing; I wouldn't like that at all. One of the reasons we have so many doctor switches is because most of them are in residency. They do there time for the Gov when they graduate from med school then they move on. I havent had my surgery yet so hopefully I get someone half way decent

Nationalised health care should provide for essentials.Any thing outside this should be considered elective and paid by the patient or their own private insurance.(Sex change procedures should be banned anyways) Totally agree, agua.
