Mighty Men 2009 - 250,000 attended the 2009 conference Mighty men 2010 - 400,000 men attended this one, the official pic's are not out yet, this is part of the campsite. Imagine 400,000 men from all walks of life, praying for our leaders and peace under Jesus in our land. It's an awesome event, run like an army, food, showers, toilets, water, and everything supplied. The cost is about $30 per person, which goes towards paying the surrounding farmers for loss of crops due to the huge campsite and venue. That's impressive. Is this like a Promiskeepers conference or.....? Nah, just a bunch of guys worshiping Jesus. The organizer, Angus Buchan is a well know Evangelist here. He is a farmer who wrote the book "faith like potatoes". Its in movie form now, try and watch it! He has filled every rugby stadium in the country this year. The guys that go to Mighty men bring their families and wives. South and I are attending our church leaders conference in June where he will probably be as well, because we are sister churches.
