Well, I work in Youth ministry for The Salvation Army where I live. Chris (my husband) works in teen and young adult ministry. I also do some street preaching and gospel arts ministry with teens on the side. I REALLLLLLYYYYYY want to do more missions work with teens in Peru (or anywhere in central or south america actually) Working with teens is my passion especially in creative arts areas because that is one way they are receptive to the Gospel. I love praying with them and talking with them one on one!  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just quoted myself for reference sake. I see this thread has been revived! COOL! I just added a new venture to my plate. I am also now a consultant for Pampered Chef. It's lots of fun!! I do parties and cooking demonstrations and have catalogs of cool kitchen stuff and meet people and lots of stuff! (btw, if anyone wants to ask me about ordering online, pm me!)
Guest The Chief
Hmmm....what to say? Well, I'm a retired senior ordnance technician with the Navy. Along with that, an Underway OOD and CICWO (I supervised the maneuvering and tactical employment of our ship). Last several occupations over the past 15 or so years include Occupational Safety And Health Manager, Physical Security Supervisor, and Emergency Medical Services. Far too many "qualifications" to list here (my quals listing goes to about 9 pages, lol) but focused on maritime occupations in general, and warfighting in particular. A far cry from my church's nonresistance stance! Currently have been placed on 100% disability by the VA and SSA...look upon it as a golden opportunity to have time to reach others for our King! I bring newcomers community info, free items, gift certificates, etc., from local businesses and also a nice coupon for "eternal life". I tell them that that is the best gift I ever received. It starts conversations about the Lord when I am visiting the newcomers. I love my job! God gave me the idea when I was praying about how I could witness for Him.
