They go a week at a time and stay in the hospital to receive treatments. When, if any, is a good time to call? I am ashamed I know so little about this! It is a new freindship and the Lord's burdening my heart to be there in what sort of capacity of comfort He performs within me to them! If it isn't, he/she will probably let you know when a better time would be. Just the fact that you're calling, lets him/her know you care!

Guest A_Mistake
Sounds like your friend would like your support my aunt had to go through chemotherapy for breast cancer and when noone wanted her to talk to anyone she would call me just to talk. maybe thats all your friend wants, to stay connected.you never know. I know a song called The Call by Matt Kennon tells about how all 2 ppl needed was that one phone call from a friend. sometimes its helpful to hear a friendly voice. sincerely Scarlette God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak Isaiah 40:

I'd say it's OK to call during normal times and you don't get an answer, just leave a message that you were thinking of him and he is free to call you at any time.
