Guest carqunie
Hi, I joined the fellowship for 2 times, I love it! Then, it organize a boattrip, I did go for that even though I don't know them much. I am new, so I actively talked with so many people. But they can only chat for a while and go to swim or talk with the friends they know. I remembered there are two girls sitting at the chair. I sat next to them, try to listen what they are talking. Unfortunately, I don't know what they are talking, so I ask what are you talking about. They did answer my question, but I felt I am like begging people to talk with me. There are times I sat on the boat doing nothing . (I don;t swim) kind of sad! Is people in the church won't care new people or what do you think? I don't think I will go there again or I may find another one Carman

Try finding people who do things you like to do, or someone you can get to know pretty well that can introduce you to other people, the head of the church or whatever might be a good choice. When you're "the new person" it's often extremely hard to fit in with people who have been friends for a longer period of time. Is there anyone else there who is relatively new to the fellowship??... maybe he or she would be more sympathetic towards you if you are lonely and be more willing to get to know you. If you have only been with fellowship 2 times be patient... you're probably going to fit in sooner or later. I don't think that listening to other people's conversations and interrupting them is cool though. Try not to be forceful in getting to know people... Good Luck! :t:
Guest godsmartian
I think Wix and OBEY are right and that I also had a hard time getting to know people my whole life. But stick with it and sooner or later you'll find someone to hang with. Unfortunately some churches don't welcome new people with open arms. But don't get discouraged but be persistance. God will reward that. I'll pray for you. God Bless and Good luck.
