The ill-informed race mongers

They're still playing the race card on people who insist the president of the United States should have to prove he is constitutionally eligible for office.

Meet Rep. Jim Clyburn, the assistant Democratic leader in the House.

He gave an interview to the McClatchy News Service in which he claimed that those concerned about Barack Obama's eligibility are racists.

"I don't know why anybody didn't ask for John McCain's" birth certificate, Clyburn said. "He wasn't even born in this country."

Clyburn should read Jerome Corsi's "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible To Be President." The first chapter of the book recounts the forgotten media hysteria over McCain's eligibility issue. The New York Times and CNN and other major media outlets published and broadcast dozens of stories questioning McCain's qualification as a "natural born citizen"

Thanks for pointing out what should be obvious, wyguy

This bears repeating

Let me point out that the white guy in the 2008 presidential race – the guy who had served in Congress for 30 years and previously run for president – was the one forced to prove his eligibility. The half-black guy – with three years in Congress, whose two fathers were both foreign citizens and who attended school in Indonesia as an Indonesian citizen, was not asked to prove anything!

One would think that the election of Obama would have caused race relations in the US to improve.

They haven't. Indeed, I believe a case can be made that they've worsened.

Go figure. . .

Blessings!

race relations haven't worsened at all. the people who cried foul before still cry foul today. it's not about race, it's about political rhetoric. it's the whole "let's whine, cheat and steal til we get our way" mentality. sadly, there's half a nation buying into that line of garbage.

The Human Race Is All Fouled Up

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

Still Jesus Saves

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Believe

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

And Be Blessed Beloved

I agree with L.C. that Americans are buying into this crap.....only it's not just half (as this whining article proves) but BOTH halves that are sobbing and pouting. What a waste of oxygen......:whistling: God does NOT care about this stuff.

Oh I wouldn't be so sure. There's a commandment that deals with lying, another that deals with coveting . . .

I'm not whining, but I do have an opinion. And my opinion is that racism is worse - not better - post Obama's election.

Racism may not have played a part in his election (though other than being half-black, I'm not sure what other qualifications he had)

But I'll say this: If he's re-elected, racism WILL have played a part.

Blessings!

Everyone complains when their party is not in power and may make points that come across as sour. This article is not whining, It is proving a point.

The point is this, politics should never be about race. To many people play the race card just because they disagree with Obama. Like I have said I have been called a racist because I disagree with Obama's polices. I do not care one whit if he was white or black or even from another planet. What I care about is his policies and the effect they have on the people and country I love. To be called a raciest and to be lumped with a group of people that are hate filled and show no love, that is offensive, and yet I have been called that.

I have been called a racist because I did not help the lady who was not in my line at work. I was working a special VIP line at the casino cashier cage, and a lady was not a VIP player, so I did not help her. She shoved in, started giving me a hard time because I did not call her over and telling me how "horrible" my customer service was. I told her that this was the "Diamond" line a VIP line, she did not know what it was. I then told her that if there was no one else in line I would have called her over but I did not see her. (I was not looking at the other lines!)

Then she dropped the bomb.

"You did not see me because I am black"

I had to bite my tongue. I had not even noticed quite honestly that she was black until that point, the thought of race never entered my mind.

I tried to explain the VIP program again and told her that I did not noticed her skin color, She just rolled her eyes took her change and stormed off, muttering under her breath. So offended that a white person dare ignore her, so he MUST be racist.

I Almost blew up on her, but I remains calm.

You see, the Obama media and his defenders love to play this race card. It is politics as usual and as pointed out very hypocritical. You see Libs have said that Condi Rice and Colin Powell are not really black, because they are conservative.

So you see playing the race card is what this article is all about.

You see by continuing playing the race card, you inflame racism not bring it to an end. The way you fight racism, is to ignore race altogether.

What do you have against people standing up against people propagating racism by playing the race card. \

Also is it not whining to whine about other people whining?

people don't play the race card who DISagree with obama. not sure if that's what you meant to say or not. but the thing is, people who disagree with obama are ACCUSED of playing the race card, when really, those who disagree with obama have plenty of valid reason to disagree with him.

the race card is actually being played by obama's supporters, who don't like when anyone voices an opinion contrary to obama.
