Paste the link in your post editor and then highlight it with your mouse. Click on the "chain" icon above the field in which you are typing your post and you should see the URL in the top field and the bottom field allows you to post the name you want for your link or you can leave it blank. Then just click "insert link" at the bottom of that field you are free then to click "send message" and the link will appear in the thread.
