Guest LadyC
i lived in las vegas for ten years. LOTS of misconceptions about vegas.... the two biggest? a) there are no churches, and b) prostitution is legal. both of those are wrong, let me assure you! God is alive and well in las vegas. there are more churches than 7-11's in that city! and they're usually packed. and prostitution is not legal anywhere in the county (also not in the county where reno is.) the legal brothels are so far out in the desert, it's usually about a 20 minute drive to the nearest gas station. Guest yod
I have never seen cowboys in helmets. that would be blasphemy in Texas!!! It is our national religion to attend Friday night high school football, cheer the Longhorns on (boo Aggies) Saturday, and rush out of church to watch the Cowboys on Sunday That's why I go to a congregation on Shabbat, so I don't have to miss a minute of it. (actually I've only been able to watch a couple of games per season over the last decade, but you get the point)
