In the infamous words of John Wesley's dear Mother Susanna;

"Take this rule: whatever weakens your reason, impairs the tenderness of your conscience, obscures your sense of
or takes off your relish of spiritual things; in short, whatever increases the strength and authority of your body over your mind, that thing is sin to you, however innocent it may be in itself."

-- Susanna Wesley (Letter, June 8, 1725)

I've been smoke free for a month, same thing, not a single craving, all the power of Christ alone. I prayed my way through the first few days of hard cravings, and after that, my addiction was taken away. Glory to God for our success in quitting. Congrats to you friend!

Smoked cheese is sooo good!

And to echo the sentiments of others... praise the Lord! I have never been a smoker (a fact I am extremely glad about) but I know plenty of people who have tried to give up - some have succeeded, others...not so much. From what I have heard, it isn't an easy thing to do for most people so you have been blessed to have such an easy time of it!

The chances are good that some of my heart problems come from breathing my parents' (and others') second hand smoke. I never caught the habit. Is it sin? No. Nor is drinking alcohol. Can it BECOME a sin? Absolutely.

Congrats to all of those whom God has delivered, and glory to his Holy name.
