I prayed my way through the first few days of hard cravings, and after that, my addiction was taken away. Glory to God for our success in quitting. Congrats to you friend! I have never been a smoker (a fact I am extremely glad about) but I know plenty of people who have tried to give up - some have succeeded, others...not so much. From what I have heard, it isn't an easy thing to do for most people so you have been blessed to have such an easy time of it!

I never caught the habit. Is it sin? No. Nor is drinking alcohol. Can it BECOME a sin? Absolutely. Congrats to all of those whom God has delivered, and glory to his Holy name.
