Disagree all you like. That's your perogative. South Africa, your homeland, was once a Christian nation as well, founded if I recall by the Dutch Reform Church. I'm not sure when the DRC went into apostasy, but it did. Are Krugerrands still the money of your country, or did Mandela and the socialists steal them all? What happened to Christianity in South Africa, Fez? If I understand it correctly, didn't the Church get blamed for apartheid?

America was founded for 'The Glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian Faith.' (From the Mayflower Compact.)

Typical fearful American head in the sand ignorance throughout your answer. Thank the Lord there are still level headed, well read, Christian Americans out there. Your grasp of world events is frightening to say the least.

The SA monetary system is and has since the British pound, been the Rand. South Africans may not own raw gold. But they can buy Kruger Rand's, acknowledged as one of the most stable currencies in the world, and one that has appreciated over 1000% (count the zero's), in the last 20 years.

South Africa's banking system is rated to be safer than that of the US by varying authorities.

And no the church did not get blamed for apartheid (well some people blamed it, but they will blame anything on the church), and no more than the early American church was blamed for slavery.

Do you actually know what following Jesus means? Do you know what grace means (no my answer is not filled with grace, but it is about time someone asked you bluntly). Do you do anything but search for conspiracies and doom and gloom stuff, regurgitating it ad nauseum?

Have you ever just embraced Jesus in love and light and hope?

Or have you always chosen a more twisted, darker path?

There is a short cut, and it is a much easier path.

I am done with you.

I Was merely asking you a question. You still haven't answered it Fez. Was South Africa a Christian nation or no? And all your ranting tells me nothing. I do appreciate the info on the South African money system, and I asked because I didn't know. The Kruger Rand (often spelled Krugerrand) I knew was gold. That's why I asked.

I'm not into conspiracy theories; I went that route as young believer when I was steeped in pre-millennialism which seems to spout a new one about every time I turn about. I know what I believe about certain things and I'm bold about it. I don't change with every wind of doctrine. And I've been a Believer since 1974, nearly 40 years. I'm not sure just what you mean by a twisted and darker path. You might want to explain that so I get a better idea what you're referring to.
