Let me explain.... If you hope for something then your putting your trust that it will happen. And faith is based upon the principle of trusting in the Lord. To me, hope is the expectancy of something, like if you pray and your hopeful that God will give you healing, or relieve you of your distress. How I came upon this is reading Hebrews 11:1-3 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."
