I still find it hard to call all who proclaim the name of Jesus Brother or Sister

All are created by God, so all are brother's and sisters, even those who don't profess Christ.

Jesus said we are to love one another. What you are asking, is for myself and other's, to accept what you believe but we must also reject what you reject.

Sorry, but that is not the gospel message given to us by Jesus Christ.

Jesus saved the thief on the Cross, yet that thief knew nothing about Bibles or

your intepretation of it. You would not call him your brother, but Jesus brought him into heaven.

Just knowing various versions of an english Bible, will not save you, nor put you right in the eyes of God.

I am not asking you to believe what I believe

I am asking all to believe the Word of God...............

As to pergatory

Jesus paid the price for my sins The Whole price.

No where in scripture does it say He paid part of the price and I must suffer after death to pay the rest of the price...........

The Catholic church is NOT the one true church

In Christ

Hi Jim,

Why did Jesus tell some of the Jews, "You are of your father the devil."?(John 8:44)

And with regard to the thief on the cross, he really met Jesus. There are many who have never met the real Jesus. Many who know ABOUT Him but do not know Him, or are known by Him.

Mt 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

And What is the Gospel, the good news? It is that if you will repent and bend your knee to Him and Him alone you will be saved. And saved from WHAT? From the wrath to come because we have broken the Holy Law of God. The thief knew he was a sinner, repented, and submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, he called Him Lord.

Lu 23:42  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
The thief is my brother because he is one of the saints, those living or dead that make up the true church the body of Christ.

And How are we to love? We are to love by telling people the truth about the NEED to repent because of their sinful ways.

The prayer "Our Father" is also recited on the rosary. Is this blasphemy too?

Please research this doctrine & reveal this information expediently.

I want one person to answer that,If noone responds we know the answer.

response !!!!

THE APOSTOLIC LETTER INTER SODALICIA, 1918

The congregation of the Holy Office, in the decree Sunt quos amor, of June 26,1913, praised the custom of calling Mary Coredemptress; and on January 22, 1914, it affixed an indulgence to a prayer to which Mary is called Coredemptress of the human race. The role of Mary in Christ's redeeming sacrifice is developed by Pope Benedict XV (1914-22) in his apostolic letter Inter Sodalicia, March 22, 1918.

As she suffered and almost died together with her suffering and dying Son, so she surrendered her mother's rights over her Son for the salvation of the human race. And to satisfy the justice of God she sacrificed her Son, as well as she could, so that it may justly be said that she together with Christ has redeemed the human race.

Thousands of souls perish because Mary is withheld from them. It is the miserable unworthy shadow which we call our devotion to the Blessed Virgin, that is the cause of all these wants and blights, these evils and omissions and declines. Yet, if we are to believe the revelations of the saints, God is pressing for a greater, a wider, a stronger, quite another devotion to His Blessed Mother.

Absolutely not......

One does not strive for unity by compromising the word of God.

Saints,

Can we please try to get back on the subject? This has diverted into a huge Catholic issue, when it really needn't have.

The original question is, can we still be one even though our opinions on doctrinal matters differ?

If we're done discussing the issue anyway, maybe it's best to move on to another subject, or carry this over to a fresh post. What say you?
