how can we have unity when we are judged by what we do or what we look like case in point I went to a baptist chuch once and some elder or greeter told me I was going to hell for haveing short hair I can't wear my hir long it gives me violent head aches he was out fo line God loks at the heart not the hair but this guy was not talking to me in christian love he was judging me I went to a pentacostal church with a friend of mine and was told right out that if I did not speak in tongues I was not saved. 2 cases of judgeing and yet we are to be one with those who judge us on how we look or wether or not we speak in tongues?? The point is not what the world watches but What christians watch or what they read etc the world is lost in sin The Christians are to be seperate from the world but most christians watch the smut on tv and moives etc there are ladies that meet every sunday moning before church to discuss their favorite soap and what happen that week now these are christian ladies and the soap is full of adultry living in sin homosexual activity etc and they see nothing wrong with watching this stuff alot of christians go to the movies every week end their line is they don't drink or dance what else is there to do they don't care what the movie is they go it does not bother them that the Lords name is taken in vain and all the imorrallity that goes on the nudiety etc they go to be entertained and it si so pervalient now they don't notice or have become desenctized to it do I go to movies yes I do but I am selective about what I see do I read books yes but selective do I watch tv yes but selective We have to be in the world but we do not have to be of the world I guess I am one of the few that feels this way In Christ Irene

my personal choices are mine I choose not to put in my mind the trash that is on TV that is my choice and just because it is all around us does not mean I have to torraorate it in my personal life Any show or movie that says homosexuality is ok I will not watch any show that say adultry is normal I will not watch etc that is MY choice and no one has to do what I do If my hubby will not look at scantly clad girls On the beach I applaud him for his honest heart I can not control what goes on in the world but I can control what goes into my own mind and heart In Christ IreneM
