Found this floating on Facebook (an alteration of a positive-thinking poster):

"Respect God enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves God, grows you in Christ, or makes God happy."

No sure what you mean, Gary.

But I'm guessing it would change how we converse with people, what entertainment we engage in, what we allow our thoughts to dwell on, etc.

Hmm, does my university education or my part time job serve God? It does speak of the merits of hard work throughout proverbs.

But in general I think it would drastically change how we live and who we live our lives with.

Absolutely Nebula. If we were to discuss the finer details of what it looks like to live out the gospel together, there would be differing conclusions as to what would or would not be included in how we converse with people, what entertainment we engage in and what we allow our thoughts to dwell on. I find that when I talk about these things with people who are in my life at work or other, many quickly turn away from the discussion because it infringes upon the things they enjoy participating in that they don't wish to classify as sin but are.

To take your topic to another level, lets ask the questions "What would the world look like if everyone were just like Jesus?", "What would no longer be here or be done here?", "Should these things be here now?", "What if anything should we as Christians be doing about them?".

Great OP question. Just a few more to add to the fray.

Gary
