Guest shiloh357
Hi Shiloh357 Regarding your post #62 you seem to feel that its wrong to answer scripture with scripture. Allow me to remind you that at Jesus' temptation Satan quoted scripture to Jesus and Jesus refuted Satan by answering with scripture. Of course, Satan mishandled the scripture and Jesus refuted it with scripture. NOW, if you believe I mishandled scripture you are at charge to refute with scripture showing me to be in error. You have not done so, only answering with your own mere words. You are invited to show my position wrong by using scipture. Until so, your words are not sufficient nor are they authoritative. You misunderstood me. What I said was that I feel it is wrong to refute Scripture with Scripture. Jesus did indeed refute Satan with Scripture, but Satan was perferting the meaning of that Scripture. Jesus was not refuting Scripture with Scripture. Jesus was refuting Satan's attempt to pervert Scripture. I have used the Scripture you provided and have demonstrated that yo have mishandled them. There is no need to post further Scripture when your own postings were sufficient for me demonstrate that the verses you posted didn't make the claim you assigned to them. If you can't demonstrate why my comments are wrong, I will simply assume that you can't and that this evasive tactic is simply a meaningless deflection away from the substance of what I said. Your inability to refute the substance of the points I made means that I my points stand as given.

Thats a major problem of religious division, "feelings" prevail, scripture deminished. Jesus refuted satan with scripture because satan misused, perverted scripture. If you think I misused the scripture then do as did Jesus and refute it with the scripture, not feelings. Being human, commentary is good and even needful, but can never replace scriptural rebuttal. I refuted your approach to those Scriptures with the very Scriptures you provided. I even added Eph. 2:8,9 to make my point in one response to you. I have used Scriptures to refute your position. I don't need to add other Scriptures to the mix when it is easy to show by the very Scriptures you used that you are mistaken. I provied a Scriptural response with the Scriptures you provided. I am not under any obligation to dig up further Scripture. So, go back to my original refutations and adress that, or just admit that you don't have anything further to offer to this discussion.
