Yum~!

I agree Joe, but they didn't put Spangles (a Burger Restaurant/Fast Food Place in Kansas) on the list I have had White Castle Burger's and they don't even come close to tasting as good.

Yes~!

Two of the best burgers is one resturant here in chicago called, Topnotch, and another is Schoops. This a resturant that is in the outer skirts of Chicago. In a suburb named Calumet city, IL.

i see steak and shake is on the list... and although i haven't had their patty melt, i LOVE their jalapeno crunch burger and their jamaican jerk burger. both of those are absolutely outstanding. it's one of our favorite places to eat. (for the record, they also have the best pancakes i've ever eaten. and their breakfast sausage scrambler is also a favorite.)

Scotty P's has excellent burgers... i recently had their hatch green chile burger. it actually put steak & shake's jalapeno crunch to shame! and since i think the j.crunch is totally fabulous, for scotty p's to top that, it has to be some kind of wonderful!

We have a steak and shake further south of where I live but have never been there. I hope to try it one day.

I make the best burger.   Two 1/3 lb angus patties smoked with hickory and oak chips, and topped with two slices of cheddar, three slices of thick cut bacon, a pile of carmelized onions on top of the bacon and your choice of condements.  I recommend BBQ sauce, but any appropriate condiment will do.   Add a side of sweet potato fries and you will have a great meal.  I doubt you will have any room for dessert, though.  LOL

Ya'll ever come to Missouri, hit me up and I'll show you the best place for a burger.

I am orginally from the St. Louis area. Is the place anywhere near St. Louis?

My favorite place is Steak N Shake. I've been to a White Castle and In n Out, but still prefer Steak N Shake.

When in St. Louis,  don't get the "Luther burger."   It is a hamburger sandwiched between two glazed donuts.  They actually sold it at the old Busch Stadium.  I think it came with a free stress test.
