I do have a question right now though. Isn't molestation in childhood sometimes a reason for homosexuality?

key word in there is sometimes. not all homosexuals were molested, i for sure wasnt.

I don't think it's scriptural that a demon can just enter a baby at will.

I thought for many years I had a demon. I went to a bunch of local churches looking for a pastor who would rebuke the demon out of me. I mean, it was many, many pastors. They all told me I did not have a demon.

I sometimes am attracted to a woman. But I don't oogle over them like many men do. Strangly enough, it seems the women I am attracted to have many of the attributes of my sister. (I"m not attracted to my sister, I don't mean it that way) But they say we look for somebody like our mother, I tend to look for somebody like my sister.

I didn't say all homosexuals were molested, I said a good number of them were. I also don't believe just because a child was molested they become gay. My sisters & I were all molested, but I'm the only one that came out of it gay. It's a process of many factors that makes one gay. I would go as far as to say that maybe there is a predisposition from birth. But living the gay lifestyle is a choice.

As for knowing if you're straight. Well, I don't think there's an easy answer for that. It takes a lot of research, heart search, soul search, to come out of the lifestyle. And I think once you're freed from the snare of homosexuality, it is then possible to look for a woman to marry. It all varies on the person and their personality. Some ex-gays marry in a short period of time, other's like myself, takes years. Some ex-gays just prefer to never marry. Again, it depends on the personality and how much work you're willing to put into it.

Dear ArtsyLady;

No, I have never had to force myself to find a woman attractive. Even living the lifestyle, when I would see a pretty lady, I would know it. For example: Shania Twain. I find her most attractive and wouldn't mind having a date or two.

My biggest problem is my fear of having sex with a wife. Could I do it? I honestly don't know. Maybe if I find someone to date, once we'd fall in love, that would come natural. But it's a big fear.

I enjoy your questions. They make me think.

I'm not debating what you say, I agree with you. Except to say, if I was born gay, where's my sin for living the gay lifestyle? If God made me gay, why would He expect me to live any other way? I do believe, and said it in one of my posts, that some gays were born with the disposition, just like they say alcoholics are born with the disposition. Do you see what I'm saying?

I beleive you are assuming and equating the fact that you were born a certain way, so God approves it.

Yes, I think that's what I was saying. And I now see what you're saying. But {seems I always have to add a but }, if I was born gay--how could I ever hope to change? ANd what good are these ministries that help you out of the lifestyle? Is it all a waste?

Are liars born with a tendency to lie? In the womb??

Are adulterers born to become adulterers?? In the womb?

We are all born into a world of sin because of Adam. And we can all be saved by Grace.

I don't believe any particular sins infect a child in the womb.

Anyway, I don't think the verse says "we are conceived as sinners". It says we are BORN sinners.

The sinful lifestyle of the homosexual is also spoken against in the New Testament.

Romans 1

21 Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.
