From the article: "The Supreme Court ruled Monday that certain "closely held" for-profit businesses can cite religious objections in order to opt out of a requirement in ObamaCare to provide free contraceptive coverage for their employees." The 5-4 decision, in favor of arts and crafts chain Hobby Lobby and one other company, (Conestoga Wood Specialties Corp) marks the first time the court has ruled that for-profit businesses can cite religious views under federal law. It also is a blow to a provision of the Affordable Care Act which President Obama's supporters touted heavily during the 2012 presidential campaign. "Today is a great day for religious liberty," Adele Keim, counsel at The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty which represented Hobby Lobby, told Fox News. He final got it right. Here's the other one he got right. "The Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, ruled Monday that public-sector unions in Illinois cannot collect fees from home health care workers who don't want to be part of a union. The ruling is a setback for labor unions that have boosted their bargaining power -- as well as their bank balance -- in states like Illinois, by signing up thousands of in-home care workers and forcing them to fork over union dues." http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/06/30/supreme-court-rules-against-unions-in-home-healthcare-worker-case/ Edited June 30, 2014 by Roy B. Guest shiloh357
If people want birth control. They can buy it themselves. No one should not be forced to pay for what other people do in their bedrooms.
Guest shiloh357
I saw some tweets by left wingers calling for Hobby Lobby stores to be burned to the ground. I cannot link to them because socialist left-wingers are vulgar, violent people when they get angry and so I can only mention them and not violate the board's TOS. I'm hoping this will be the foundation element of victory for the religiously oppressed who continue see a government who mandates we get in line with their vision or else. Whether we are a privately held business or a private citizen this is a blessed win and I'll just thank God for answered prayer.Thank you Father, in Jesus Name, Pat

It is unfortunate that this ruling wasn't unanimous, that would have sent a strong message to the President that he no longer has the liberty to govern unconstitutionally. Maybe ACA will go the way of the border fence law, it's on the book, but not financed or enforced.
