Beloved

 

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,

 

and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

When He Comes

 

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

 

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

 

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

You Will Know It

Hi Tiffany glad to see you settling in
Matthew 19:26 "with God all things are possible". So yes Jesus could be walking the earth today..But he isn't how do we know?....The bible says 1 Cor 14:33 "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace"....  The bible is the Word of God and tells us How things will happen so there is no confusion...Jesus ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God...

 

All eyes will see Jesus when he does return
Acts 1:11 "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven".
Luke 21:27 "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory".
Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him,"
1 Thes 4:16  "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God"

 

Where is Jesus now?
John 14:-2 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also"
Hebrews 8:1 "We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;"
Mark 16:19"So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."
Romans 8:34"who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us"

But he is with us through the Holy Spirit till He returns

No, not physically, when he comes all the dead will arise to face the judgement, as John 5:28-29 makes plain. 

 

However in a spiritual sense it is true that he walks the earth every single day in two ways: 

 

1) Through his omnipresence (as God he is everywhere)

2) he is with all believers through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:20)

If He is He is not yet got His church so I do not believe He would be.
