I believe that God could take Satan out anytime he chose and stop all this madness when satan sin in heaven first why did God allow him in the garden of eden and not prevent him from going there Why has God allow the devil to continue ? Why did not God kill the devil the moment he sin ? There must be opposition in all things. There is no evil without good and there is no righteousness without wickedness. Of course there is good and righteousness with no opposition. satan is not in opposition to God, to say that gives him far too much credit. Guest
Why has God allow the devil to continue.... I believe that God could take Satan out anytime he chose and stop all this madness.... when satan sin in heaven first why did God allow him in the garden of eden.... and not prevent him from going there.... Why has God allow the devil to continue.... Why did not God kill the devil the moment he sin... There must be opposition in all things.... There is no evil without good.... and there is no righteousness without wickedness.... Of course there is good and righteousness with no opposition. satan is not in opposition to God, to say that gives him far too much credit. When DID Satan First Sin? How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Isaiah 14:12-16 And Is But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 God Really Evil? Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. James 1:16-18 Or, Is God Really Love? Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 I'll Check It Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 Out For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Guest
Despite the fact that the devil continues (but does not have much time left), Jesus wins! Hallelujah~! And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Revelation 20:7-9 Beloved, Think We Will Judge Angels? And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Why did not God kill the devil the moment he sin ? for me it appears we do not have the full story, that there seems to be laws that God set that He doesn't cross, and everything including angels are abiding by some set structure trusting in God is just part of the structure, that He is good and His ways are the best

Men have tangled with this for hundreds of years. The greatest Christian thinkers could not completely understand it--guys like Augustine, Luther and Calvin. Even Job more or less struggled with this too as did the writers of the Psalms. You form many questions in your post and essentially it is leading to one question--I think: The Problem of Evil. Some very wise scholars have come up simple statements to try and understand it better (Sproul, Piper, C.S. Lewis) but in the end no one can comprehensively understand it. I would be cautious of those who purport to have a complete answer. I would also overlook those who give silly, unintelligent answers that really don't address the issue.
