It definitely makes my point.  "Six days work" is six days of creation.  Not only that, it clearly states in Exodus 20:11 that God created/made ALL THINGS in those six days, whether in Heaven, or in earth, or in the sea ("all that in them is"). There is absolutely nothing that is excluded.

Since the Ten Commandments were written by the hand of God, and they are eternal and immutable, Christians can (and should) base their understand of creation on the authority of Exodus 20:11.  Six days means six literal 24-hour days.  If anyone chooses to challenge the Ten Commandments, they have a very serious problem.

Six days God made the land and seas from existing materials He had previously brought into existence approximately 13.8 billion years ago.

11 “For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.  [Exodus 20:11, NASB]

Spot On!

We know there are many English words that are spelt the same, sound the same and they have totally different meanings. Take the word "FAST," for instance.

One can be going fast in a car.

One can be held fast, stationary stuck in deep mud.

One can be on a fast and be hungry,

One can go out with fast women.

It depend upon the message being conveyed as to what is meant when one says fast!

There's no mistaking he words asah and bara are totally different, sadly some don't get it?

2 Peter 3, "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5, For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing1 out of the water and in the water:

6, Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7, But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Evil had to come forth at some particular point and be found in Lucifer.  This doesn't contradict what I said.

So what you are saying is our God who is all knowing, who declares the end in the beginning, doesn't know that his subject Lucifer will turn evil?  Are you saying that God had no control over his own creation?

Isaiah 45:7   I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Would anything surprise God? Didn't he already make his plan for salvation before the foundations of the world were created?

How can he plan to offer salvation way in advance if he doesn't create evil?  We wouldn't need it then, wouldn't have any resistance.  Would be created just like robots.

How could we then choose good over evil without the two choices?

God could have created obstacles and tests without creating evil  . It is not evil to make a horse jump a fence ,to force us through a series of situations where we develop ,and learn and  when we refuse to make the effort, suffer as a result .

This is not creating 'evil' .  Evil has the purpose of being so , as it is to intentionally destroy, and is based on envy ,greed and ill intention ,where as with God the intention is to develop to the highest purpose in order to make perfect andbeautiful .

So to say God created 'evil', is in my opinion a human misunderstanding of  what we see as a result of Lucifers poisoning of creation .  Free will is a God given thing which means God does not know in advance what we will do ,but He still controls in advance His Creation .  We see, that all the planets all the  plants and all the animals including us, have a 'cycle 'of life in which they develop .We are the only concious beings here, who can in many ways influence conciously the length of cycle of life on earth , mainly by following God's benevolent laws specifically created for us .If God limits the time in cycles during which we can develop, He makes sure that we develop according to His perfect design or that we die . So we are free until the cycle ends , only until then .

This last part is just an  idea form observation,a theory if you will .

What Moses wrote in Genesis 1 (by Divine inspiration) he confirmed in Exodus 20 (by Divine inspiration). Quibbling over "created" and "made" dishonours the Creator, who created all things out of nothing. Note Matthew Henry's pertinent comments:

God has given us an example of rest, after six days’ work: he rested the seventh day, took a complacency in himself, and rejoiced in the work of his hand, to teach us, on that day, to take a complacency in him, and to give him the glory of his works,..

No one is dishonouring God, only those who add to or take away from the Word?

You see, God never created ALL THINGS OUT OF NOTHING?

God made Adam out of the dust of the ground, an already existing creation. He later put Adam asleep, took a rib from Adam and out of this He made Eve. We should be careful when making statements without thinking.

Does anyone see 13.8 billion years over here (in either passage), or can we just conjure up a new math where 7 = 13.8 billion?

I agree with your first two short paragraphs with respect to God and 'evil'.  This is supported by my study of Job, especially God's encounters with Lucifer in Heaven, and how mankind perceives the actions of Satan, wrongly attributing them to God.

When you get to free will stating that God does not know how we or what we will choose, I believe that is not correct.  I believe God has foreknowledge, otherwise prophesy is educated guesswork.  God's foreknowledge does not mean that he predestines someone to Heaven or Hell.  We still have free will.  But God's foreknowledge, His ability to go in and out of time, a dimension He created, allows Him to see our free will choices before we make them.  He doesn't ordain the choices, but He sees the results.  I, however, do agree with you that "God created 'evil'" is a misunderstanding of God's place and Lucifer's place in Creation.

Your error here is you fail to see the Gap at Genesis 1:1 and the resulting chaos of Genesis 1:2.  This is akin to looking thru a microscope and making claims applicable to the universe.  You just don't understand God's written words.

To clarify, you are speaking about Genesis 1:3 forward.  I believe Genesis 1:1, God created the universe from the power of His Word, out of nothing.  It's what we call the Big Bang although it was probably silent except for the Angels singing.
