It is why Obama was elected, he was supposed to be something "different". That did not work out so well, so people are still looking. What Trump has been masterful at is appealing to both sides of the "we need things to change" mentality. He bills himself as the outsider who will change the system while simultaneously telling people he will take them back to the "good old days" (i.e. make America great again). With this strategy he can win votes from both sides, it is really rather genius. The oddest thing about American politics is the fact that it is the only job where experience is a negative, yet we re-elect incumbents at a 96% rate. I really am not kidding..... so, if you and I are not given any respect for a different opinion, remember, they're thinking "What would Donald want us to do"?
