You are trying to force a fictious set of customs on to the Bible and then claim that you only go by the word of God. I don't think there is any need for nuptials and I don't hold Jesus to having to perform a set of nonexistent customs. You are operating from the premise that the ancient Jewish wedding customs are biblical, and I am operating from the view that they are not biblical nor historical. The great white sheet was simply a vision that meant to reveal to Peter that uncircumcised Gentiles were not unclean and that they were accepted into the Kingdom of God. Jeremiah 3 I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. The Bible doesn't point to the sheet, but to the unclean animals on the sheet. Peter tells us what the vision means.
