Yes. I used to feel that way as well. It has nothing to do with raising children, nor a call to raise children. So no, you never used to feel that way as well. If you knew the truth once, and rejected it, you may no longer have a sacrifice available for your sin - because you renounced the truth, and now spew lies, if you once knew the truth, there may be no way back. Otherwise "perversions" is hardly used at all in scripture, and often refers to changes to teaching in the early churches.
