The New Agers  spiritualists and Occult teachers teach that prayer to their followers because they use the guise of "peace " and  "love"  to hide the spiritual deception .  Also, there is no evidence that Francis of Assisi was a saved born again Christian, there is no evidence that Francis wrote that prayer either , but there is a mythology that has been created around him.  By his writings he was a Catholic mystic and mysticism is filled with many spiritual pitfalls and deception.

The current Pope Francis is using this mythology  of St. Francis to propagate Ecumenism and a False Universal religion.

I have always loved this man too because of his love for the animals.

It's unfortunate that some do not possess the gift of Love and cannot open their hearts to hear the story of a Godly man such as St Francis.

Well, who doesn't love animals?  right? Yes there is a publicized & romanticized image about all the catholic saints and especially their St.  Francis  . I chose to look into things before running with the herd. Who can separate fact from fiction when it comes to the Catholic writings of their canonized catholic saints....They all had to have some  mythologized 'super power' otherwise who would venerate and pray to them? Who would buy the Catholic books,  little prayer cards & beads and give money to the RCC?  But gee , not so for the regular old Biblical saints- why they weren't given the stigmata if that was a sign from GOD of their holiness , one can only wonder why the RC "saints" were honored by GOD more.......

We are not talking about RCC saints.  We are speaking of one man, one prayer.  No one said anything about praying to saints or anything else.  The RCC has nothing to do with what this post is all about.

We venerate the Saints in the Old and New Testament, for all are one with Christ Jesus.
