The verses of Matthew above are not the rapture of the Church verses they are verses of the second coming. They are two different events. The rapture of the Church is imminent. It can happen at any time. Nothing else needs to happen for the rapture of the Church to occur. The second coming is after the seven year tribulation. Then after the seven year tribulation we go into the 1000 year millennium.

The important differences between the rapture and second coming are as follows:

1) At the rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14).

2) The second coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation (Revelation chapters 6–19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10).

3) The rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The second coming includes the removal of unbelievers as an act of judgment (Matthew 24:40-41).

4) The rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). The second coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:29-30).

5) The second coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other end-times events take place (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15-30; Revelation chapters 6–18). The rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54).

Why is it important to keep the rapture and the second coming distinct?

1) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, believers will have to go through the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10).

2) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, the return of Christ is not imminent—there are many things which must occur before He can return (Matthew 24:4-30).

3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6–19 nowhere mentions the church. During the tribulation—also called “the time of trouble for Jacob” (Jeremiah 30:7)—God will again turn His primary attention to Israel (Romans 11:17-31).

The rapture and second coming are similar but separate events. Both involve Jesus returning. Both are end-times events. However, it is crucially important to recognize the differences. In summary, the rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath. The second coming is the return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to defeat the Antichrist and his evil world empire.

Guess this the post

Where is the imminents?

1- The subject of Thess 4:17 can be found in v 13

I Thessalonians 4:13 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."

This concern is over "them which are asleep". The concern is over the loved ones that have died and left them, and their decaying bodies are out there in their grave. Paul is saying for us not to be sorry about those Christians who are dead and gone, for that is the concern of the heathen. The heathen's fear comes from their ignorance of God's word, and His promises. The heathen have no hope, for they believe it's over at the burial.

Those who have died throughout time are those coming back with Him in Rev 19:14

No imminents!

2- Thess 5:9 shows nothing about coming before the trib,it shows we are not appointed to wrath

Not going through it all but not one of your verses show Christ can return at anytime...

Is that all you got, buying groceries and dying, dude, please. And what do you mean when the Elect remain, which leads to another question,do you understand who the Elect are?

You keep asking these stupid questions.  I know who the Elect are: do you?

I'll tell ya what Jack; let's take away your electrical power, shut off your water, and not let you buy groceries or gas.

THEN ~ if you venture out in public looking for what you need just to live every day: they're going to pin you to the wall and make you worship the talking image of the beast-of-a-man ~ or else!

Is that all you got?  Well tell dude: what do you got?  How tough are you when you're not behind that computer screen, all nice and warm and dry?

,do you understand who the Elect are?

To quote a movie, they are the best of the best, meaning they really understand the Word, they are those whom Christ said would not bow a knee,so do tell why were they not raptured?

That's actually not the definition of the Elect.

They are not the 'best of the best' (MIB).
They might not really "understand"" the Word.  You don't have to figure everything out perfectly to be part of the Elect who are gathered up.

Scripture does say that those who worship the talking image abomination will not be part of the Kingdom of God, so the Elect don't do that - but that doesn't define who they are either...

And they ARE (to be) GATHERED UP.  Which IS the Rapture.  So I can't tell you why they won't be raptured when they will be raptured.

We are to ENDURE till the END,what part you don't understand.

Been without electric before, nothing to eat as well..Hell that's been going on forever how many people don't have that now,how many have been killed for not renouncing Christianity?

Nobody can make you do anything, should it come down to that, yes I will die.

That's your problem, you think the trib is all about death, can you tell me how satan can go around killing people and expect them to believe He's Christ, can't and won't happen!!!!!!

Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

The Trib is all about deception...

You call my questions stupid guess it would be since you can't answer them!!!

I fear no man,period!!!!
