How do Chinese women feel about that? Are mothers in law bossy and controlling? Where does the Chinese husband put his wife? Above his mother? In chinese forum ,it is a hot topic And the conclusion is :the tear after the marriage,is the water in the brain before marriage(if y married a mummy's boy) the Chinese husbands always put his mother far more above than his wife, and even his brothers and sisters and lots of times even his good friends ,in his eye,are far more above than his wife in ancient china ,the men worshipped his parents as we worship GOD, and in todays china ,lots of men say that “I can have many wives, but I only have ONE MOTHER”

I think the Jacob/Esau distinction is better. Under that the m.b. is one that is less outdoorsy, more sensitive, artistic, head in the clouds etc. I'm not sure of a daddy's girl except sweeeeeeet Lol!! Daddy's girl..of course, I'm going to guess you have a daughter lol In my job in Education, I see many boys who one would label MB's and I find them to be like you say, sensitive, artistic, more likely to seek out a female teacher than a male. Certainly not a negative thing.

What a saying In my opinion, a married man should put his wife first (being sensitive to the needs of his mother if father is not in the picture). Jesus provided for His mother Mary's needs right to the end of His life, John 19v26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Yes, I think Mummas boy label is wide and varied..but often its the negative view taken first.

Well its a sad thing with Jacob and his mum actually, because with him listening to Rebecca's advice about the trickery with the birthright, he never saw his mum again, once he fled to Laban's home. Also, Jacob was prone to favouritism too, his son Joseph and I think more feelings toward Rachel than Leah.( although he was tricked into the marriage with Leah by Laban!).
