May you have good fortune in finding Christian friends. They are indeed hard to make, even at church ( And I work there). Friends are rare, getting scarcer I think. There are lots of friend-ly individuals, but not necessarily friends, to be found. Bummer indeed.

I pray you find some eager individuals and do form a group that becomes friends. I just didn't want to ignore your inquiry.

Facebook is a terrible place, to be honest. You'll find some like minded people here if you're patient. I concur! But, I also think that I see need for friendship in addition to fellowship. Friends do things together, care about each other's kids, all sorts of things that is different from church fellowship or this message board. They all may overlap some, but I think like Spirit and Soul they may not be identical. Hard to go spear fishing or kayaking together on a website message board or a facebook account. Friendship is more real time and comfort than is this, or what I see of facebook. Edited May 14, 2017 by Neighbor

One- I have no business need to do so. Two- I see daily two individuals that are within inches of each other working. They have their desk computer on their Ipads out and on, plus their Iphones out and on, all to various facebook accounts and social media. And they absorb all that stuff while working and not really connecting with the people around them nor the clients thta come to their stations, for real contact robs them of their joy in facebook. It is all very weird to this old geezer. I once opened an account in order to view some pictures of Israel posted on Facebook- took about six years to get Facebook to stop sending me messages every few hours regardng my "Account" and people wanting to meet chat or do whatever online. I just don't "get" Facebook's appeal. So obviously I am in a very very small minority. Hermits I guess. Anyway that's it. May you find that fellowship, plus if possible may it be live! I am here on Worthy She is there on Realtor.com. Our computers back to back, she looking at cabins perhaps to buy, I just looking for some good input and study from other Christians out "there". Games on in a few minutes. My poor Ray's against my old home town Red Sox. Now we did spend the morning at little League with family. great fun to watch my son manage his son just as I did him many many decades ago. Cuse me, what dear? Hiawassee? Okay give me an address, I'll look too. Edited May 13, 2017 by Neighbor
