And in the case of Baylor U, the people in charge that at best allowed it to happen and at worst were complicit in it happening have all moved on to new jobs at new universities. When our nation is in the top 15 for per capita rapes, I do not think we have any room to point fingers at anyone. In our country people busted for pot spend more time on average in jail than do rapist. We have no moral high ground on this issue. I wouldn't expect you to say anything but the above. They can vote, become president, go to graduate school, be a stay at home mom, anything. If they get assaulted or raped there's almost always prosecution and sentencing dependent on the case. They don't get stoned for being raped. They aren't hung off of cranes. We prosecute people if they throw acid on them or try to beat them to death. Women here can drive, walk freely in public places for the most part without male accompaniment and are generally safe dependent on the area. No we are not a perfect country but when was the last time a woman was buried to her chest in dirt and stoned in this counrty? Nowhere. When was the last time 1,000 women in a town like that in Germany were sexually assaulted in one night and very few prosecuted? Never happened. We have guns. They don't. So any Muslim radical who thinks he can assault a child or woman can be legitimately afraid of two things: does the victims loved ones have guns and can they touch him in prison?
