Someone summed it up this way "anytime you talk about someone in a way that makes someone think less of that person it's gossip". I know this is not a perfect definition of gossip but it's a pretty good guidelinel. What do you think? Since I've heard this quote I've heard a lot of stuff that sounded like gossip. But I do have one question let's say if you are seeing a Christian Counsellor and you are telling them about someone in your life who has hurt you is that then called gossip.
