NIV Study Bible, but if I am just reading for the absolute beauty of it to make my spirit happy, The King James Bible, everytime!

I cut my first teeth on the King James Version, my second teeth on the New Living Bible (which is really a paraphrase ...but easy reading). I cut my third set of teeth  on the New King James, Nelson Study Bible. I have the New Testament on cassette in the NASB, which is great for when I am driving or working. I also have the New Living Translation study Bible, which I really like reading... but will probably give it away soon. I also have the New King James in large print (time marches on). I really like the large print.

I use a keyword NASB and a NKJV for serious study.

I have a MacArthur NKJV Study biblea and for general reading I enjoy an ESV and then NIV as my last choice.

Guest Jules

That is funny you asked this question, I was thinking of the same thing.

My main Bible is KJV with Ryrie notes.

I enjoy reading the Comparitive Study Bible because it has 4 different version all across from each other so it really helps to understand. It has KJV, Amplified, New American Standard, & NIV.

Another good one for reading through the year is called The Daily Bible in Chronological Order which is NIV. If you've never read one in chronologial order I highly recommend it. To me, it's really so much more interesting and easier to follow. I ended up reading mine in 3 months. I was definately addicted.

I use the Contemporary English Version New Testament, the Life in the Spirit-King James Bible, & the Student Life Application-New Living Translation Bible.

NKJV for daily devotional reading. I reference about 10 other translations through e-Sword.

I study from the KJV, but I also like the AMP and the NAS. If I am preaching or teaching, I stay mostly with the KJV.
