Psalm one and two introduces the theme of the whole book. The Torah and the Messianic king. 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD and in his law does he meditate day and night 2:6 There is an eternal decree. The father has set his Son to reign as king of all the earth from his holy hill Mt Zion. A double blessing: you are blessed if your delight is in the Torah and you are blessed if you long for the messianic kingdom to come upon the earth. The spirit and the bride say come.
