Paul didn't preach in word only...but in power. The evidence of God in our midst is His presence and power. Where that power is manifested so likewise is His holiness.

The story of Ananias and Sapphira should inform us of the stricter judgment of believers when the presence and power of God are made to be experienced.

We need to return to this level of the Christian faith. Enough of dogmatic beliefs and platitudes that have only brought us an anemic church. We need the Lord to visit us and be with us as HE wants to be..in holiness and power. That is how the church can be revived...and how we can become the light in the world that we are meant to be.

Without Him...we can do nothing...as we can plainly see by the evidence of this present lack of holiness, power, and presence that once turned the world upside down.

Right now the church is mocked as an religion without any power of impact in the world. The world has moved on and up in their pursuit of temporal life.

But the church has NOT remained on the right track of eternal life and power...but rather followed the world into a powerless belief system that doesn't interfere with our worldly pursuits.

But things need to change...to get back to the narrow way of eternal kingdom life that will cause the church to be both feared and hated once again among those who see the life from above as death. But how can we be persecuted for a life we are not living...???? Are we not just leading the same kind of life as the world...while the only difference is our belief system?

Where is the power that raised Jesus from the dead so that we walk in that? Where is there this kind of faith in the earth today?

It only comes through one’s personal relationship with Christ.

For the creature can not form God in themselves in has to be done by God Himself. So may our hearts cry after this personal relationship that Christ might form Himself in us.

Blessings,

Much love in Christ, Not me

When He begins to shake the earth  and not only the earth but the heavens, we will have two choices.  Either cling to what is shaking and be removed from this earth with it, or run to what cannot be shaken.

I know there will be at least a remnant who  will have  their fear  of God restored, repent and run to Him, and those He will quickly manifest His holiness in and empower them to preach the Kingdom with  Him once more confirming His Word with  signs and wonders.

Every  one of us will find everything in us not of Him being shaken to destruction, until all that remains is what cannot be shaken.  His Kingdom will endure and is unshakable.

When the  shaking begins, be quick to repent of and forsake, let go of what is shaking...run to the Rock.  At that time it will be what decides if we end up home early, appointed works incomplete, suffering great loss at the judgement, or going on with Him to finish our race and be a part of His purposes for the end of this age.

Quote

Heb 12:25-29

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.”  Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.  For our God is a consuming fire.

My church is a small community church, but I believe they have the power of God with them. They have commanded demons to leave people's bodies, just to name one supernatural event. That is power straight from God the Father through Jesus. I know not all churches have this level of faith and therefore cannot wield God's miraculous power. But some can.
