Hi, John. I'm not sure that I understand your question that simply says Or else... what? I reread the entire topic and I believe that you are referring to my comment that it is not only possible but expected that we can should, by leaning on God's strength, be able to avoid the pitfalls of Satan or deal with them every single time. At least that's what I was commenting on when someone asked if it is possible all the time. As to or else what?, since I don't really understand what you are asking, I'll answer generally. I have a firm belief that serving Christ is more black and white than most folks do. So, with that in mind, we are either following the teachings of Christ and trusting in God for everything or else we are living for this world and thus falling for Satan's lies. I don't believe that you can rely on God for some things and not others. If you have faith then it is possible all the time. Does that add any clarity?
