That's it exactly. That's what they did when California voted against gay marriage twice. They eventually ruled against our vote. FDR wanted to stack the Supreme Court also. Maybe this is a Socialist goal? It's a shame we can't see the success that Venezuela has had with its socialist transformation! When I was in Sweden, I heard plenty of complaints about over taxation to pay for all their social programs.
