It is with ease that we can become despairing and depressed, looking at the clouds about us. But then I remember we arn’t to foxate on darkness, but rather on Light, on Jesus Christ: “ Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2) “Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.” (Philippians 3:8) “God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:9) “For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord’s death until he comes again.” (1 Corithians 11:26) “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” (Colossians 3:2) With this in mind, I happily suggest sharing what helps you be Christ focused, and anythinf that helps us saints fix our eyes on Jesus. 1

Which is what I think he meant.

(always quote it wrong) "How Deep The Father's Love For Us" How deep the Father's love for us How vast beyond all measure That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure How great the pain of searing loss The Father turns His face away As wounds which mar the Chosen One Bring many sons to glory Behold the man upon a cross My sin upon His shoulders Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished His dying breath has brought me life I know that it is finished I will not boast in anything No gifts, no power, no wisdom But I will boast in Jesus Christ His death and resurrection Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom
