We're talking about giving credit where credit is due here. Free use does not mean that works can be plaigerized! They must be cited properly! Bottom line: I will not allow others' work to be plagiarized on this forum. You believe it constitutes free use? Fine. You're not a lawyer, and neither am I. I will not subject this ministry to potential lawsuits because of my interpretation of the law, or what I think constitutes free use. Copied works will be properly cited or the thread will be pulled. End of story.

If someone is going to use someone else's published words the source should be cited. Any legalities aside, I can't for the life of me believe that you think it's okay to pass someone else's published work off as your own thought. It takes two extra seconds to cite one's source(s). As many of you have no doubt noticed by now, in the past few days I've pulled a couple relevant quotes from G.K. Chesterton's Orthodoxy and have posted them in a couple of my thread posts. Do I attempt to pass it off as my own genius? Are you kidding me?... Title, ch., page #...not that hard to do, I promise... As has already been stated, this shouldn't be that big a deal...either you cite your source properly, or it's canned...no stones from this corner...
