I'm going to a Gun Show this weekend so this number will increase in October.

Just how many guns do you intend to buy?

I have enough guns for hunting and self defense needs so I probably won't be buying more. Ammunition is a different matter though . . . . I will be buying more ammo because going to the range can be fun, but I usually blow through a lot of rounds there.

Its not too hard to understand why gun sales are up given all the rioting and cries to defund police departments in some areas. There's an old saying that is very true: "When seconds count, the police may be minutes (or hours) away." Pretty sad, but there we are. Most people are armed in my somewhat sketchy 'hood - and oddly enough there have not been any burglaries, home invasions, or any of that for quite some time.

I have two 12 gauge shotguns, a couple of Arex nine mils, and .22 and .32 handguns for plinking, so I don't think we'll be buying any more. But as you said, Walla, getting ammo is tricky, and I pray we have enough. It seems everyone I know is readying themselves as best as they can in case November 3rd goes bad ... which, given the Dems penchant for cheating on a breathtaking scale, may well happen.

God, please save the Union. At sixty-eight years old I'm getting a little long in the tooth to do engage in armed combat (again), but if needed, my wife and I are good to go.

If I find the right one, just one.  I won't just buy any gun.  I have specific guns I am looking for but I will not overpay.  My wife wants a self defense shotgun, while I'm looking for a Cold War CZ or a concealed carry striker fired CZ.

I might also look for some 9 mm Makarov ammo since I now converted one of my Glocks to shoot 9 mm Makarov.
