Thankfully, Jane Fonda is now a Christian, but she should have been arrested as well. I don't like mayonnaise, but that doesn't lead me to go smash every jar in the grocery store. I just opt not to buy it. I still support the grocery store. I can't wait for Bush and Blair to reveal that France has been illegally supplying the Iraqi's. Of course, the world will still make up a reason to hate the U.S.

Jane Fonda is now a WHAT?!?!?!?! Would somebody PLEASE post a link, or article or something, because I never heard one word about THAT!! Where did you hear that, Martyr?!?!?! And, I agree with both of you. I would never want our rights to peaceful protest taken away, but this goes way beyond that. And, GMan, they DID block an ambulance. And, if the person dies, I think the "peace" protestors should be tried for negligent homicide.

Although I was not aware of Fonda's conversion either. Some more info?

I am not sure where I heard this. But, as is often the case with celebrity conversions, they kind of go into seclusion and don't speak of it for awhile. This may be at the advice of those discipling them, so that they may grow to be a little more mature in the faith. I remember hearing of Bob Dylan's conversion and backsliding (sorta) years ago, the pressure from the Christian community to conform quickly has to be immense for those celebrities. Too often when someone of celebrity status is converted to Christ, they are placed on a platform of leadership. Basically, we're asking a baby Christian to behave as an adult, and to lead other adults, when we don't allow them to be discipled and to mature. As for a link, I hope the one traveller posted is helpful. I know it happened a few years ago, and ted turner didn't want to stay married to a Christian. He's a very misguided and/or evil man. Through the years, he has made many derogatory anti-Christian remarks. Going back to Bob Dylan, after his conversion, he made an album with spiritual lyrics. The Christian community came out in large quantity to hear him. When he started playing some of his old songs, they booed him off the stage. He made a comment along the lines, that if this is how Christians act, he didn't want to be one. May we all let God's love be seen through us. I didn't even know she broke up with Ted. LOL! I'm not into hollyweird stuff AT ALL. Well, I wondered how she could possibly live with him while working out her faith. That answers that. I also didn't know about Bob Dylan. And, that is a shame that those people acted so ignorantly, no excuses there. BUT, if he TRULY became saved, no body or no thing could change that, and he could not "give it up".
