Is belief in the Trinity essential to one's Salvat

No. The trinity is catholic doctrine. It is not in scripture as doctrine. Believing and Loving Christ is all you need.

Denise

What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

First, why does "Catholic" equal wrong? Secondly, the doctrine is most certaintly in scripture!

The holy roman doctrine and catholic doctrines have beguiled the whole earth just like the serpent did to EVE. Here are some of the things that they have twisted.

Catholic doctrines that have twisted the word of God. Some started as far back as the holy roman empire.

1. The Trinity:

The triune nature of God instead of One Spirit and One Body.

2. The Rapture:

started by a Jesuit priest who lied about who he was. Where those who give mouth service will be taken into heaven. Pre-Post- Mid all variations of mans imagination.

3. Heaven: Zeus

Denise: So much wrong in so little space! You astonish me!!!

What a wonderful economy of speech; you can put more error into fewer words than any person I have ever seen......

Let me just hit on one for you. "Call no man 'father'...." With the interpretation you put on that, Paul virtually damned his soul, when he claimed to be the 'father' of the Corinthians, and EVEN TAUGHT THEM TO THINK OF HIM AS THEIR FATHER. (I Cor. chapter 4)

Now either Paul was directly contradicting Jesus, or the interpretation you've been forcing on Jesus' statement is incorrect. Which shall it be my dear, the 'traditions of men' you've been taught, or the WHOLE Word of God?

ON this list, the difference between a royal member and a nonbeliever is nothing. Nobody can explain the parables here.

No and neither is belief in the Oneness of God. Only belief and faith that Jesus Christ took all our sins and washed them away when He died on that cross. Repent, be baptized in Jesus name and receive the Holy Ghost. This is what the apostles taught and that is all you need. The Oneness will come when you study the Bible further.

Funny. You just referred to the Holy Spirit as a Person.

"re: Is belief in the Trinity essential to one's Salvation?"

No, but rejection of the Trinity as Oneness believers do is a rejection of the God of the Bible and His Christ. Simply put, Oneness believers, like JW's and Mormons have the wrong Jesus. Faith in the wrong Jesus is of no value.

I'm closing this discussion temporarily. We already have several threads on the Trinity debate at this time.
