Yeah, I'd say so. All I meant by that remark is that predestination does not mean you will have yogurt tomorrow for breakfast as opposed to bacon and eggs!

Indeed @Omegaman 3.0. Good comparison of choice. Shalom

Indeed, you cannot prove it. Well said. Shalom

It seems to me, and I cannot prove it, that Adam the first was neutral in a sense of choice. We, who are in Christ, are not idling in neutral. We are rather animated, by a New Life and the indwelling God Almighty.

If I were to modify that analogy, I would say that Adam was in gear, driving down the road. Ahead in the road, was a fork, and he would have to decide which way to go. God had given him a road map, and the left fork was marked "don't go this way!"

Satan was placing a sign up ahead, that said the left road will take you to your destination faster. Eve (riding shotgun) advised Adam to go to the left, that way is better!

The road on the left, was fast, but there was a chasm up ahead. Satan did not know, that God was busy, building a new road with a bridge to span the chasm.

Later, more people, Adams descendants, are driving down the same road, but now there is a GPS available, and some are using it. In the updated map on the GPS, there is something new noted:

There is a bridge up ahead, called the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Some, are going to take the new way with the bridge, most are stubborn and will not.

A poor analogy, but it was fabricated quickly, lol.

Free will for man is clearly limited in scope.

Where in scripture does it say that?

Good comparison with scripture. Amen. Shalom

1 Corinthians 2:[1] And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
[2] For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
[3] And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
[4] And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
[5] That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
[6] Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
[7] But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
[8] Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Does this sort of come close?:

5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

In the flesh, yes. But not in the spirit. Shalom

Matthew 16:[19] And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Sorry, not really.

My question was about our limited scope of freewill.   We seem to have all the freewill we need, as in unlimited.

Our choices are limited in what is keeping with our nature. For example:

A man may choose to walk across a bridge, what he may not choose is for his body to fly across a bridge. There is a limit there. We also have the responsibility to choose wisely.
