A cheerful disposition is good for your health;

gloom and doom leave you bone-tired.”

Proverbs 17:22

Free will, though it makes evil possible,

also makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having.

C. S. Lewis

Free will is awesome, if God controlled us alot of things we enjoy doing that are not sins but not completely spiritual would not be done. Like listening to worldly music. If God controlled us we would not listen to that. its why i love free will. Sin is a problem naturally but it takes spiritual eyes to see that.

"Free will" allows us to do what we please. But we can abuse that freedom by violating God's laws. That's when we have abused that freedom, and are subject to the consequences of our sin.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Forced or demanded love, is no love at all, it's free will and choice. We love God because He first loved us. There are a lot of opinions out there about what 'free will' is and its implications.

"We love because God loved us first.
Whoever says, “I love God,” but hates another believer is a liar
".

People who don't love other believers, whom they have seen,                                                                  can't love God, whom they have not seen"                                                                                                        1 John 4:19-20 (GW)

Yes the Lord gives us free will but that doesn't mean we should use it unwisely. The punishment for doing so is rather serious so people really need to think carefully about how they use it. But God deserves endless praise for giving us this gift of free will and allowing us to choose.

Yes, "free will" can be used for good, or for evil purposes. During our lifetime we get to choose, but on Judgment Day God will render his verdict regarding our life. And He always has the FINAL WORD!:amen:
