Age for first ear piercing?

Growing up I had to be at least 13 and mature to get them pierced. I currently  don't have pierced ears and have personal reasons why I would never let my daughters ears get pierced (she is autistic) . If your a mom who pierced her babies ears more power to ya. I never did .

Hi @D. Adrien You never thought maybe to put the stud in sometimes to make sure the hole remained?

Ppl do need to remember to do that, anyway, if they want to keep the hole.

@D. Adrien Do you think it's a phase that younger men go through? Some do take them out later; some do keep them in, and thus keep their holes.

I believe that it's entirely up to the individual. I've seen old men with earrings, but never old and affluent men with earrings.
