...will be saved at the Great White Throne Judgment?

I recall Jesus telling Pilate that his kingdom is "not of this world".  Pilate (and countless others) is going to have an epiphany when he finds himself on trial in front of his judge, Jesus.

Can you imagine that scene playing out?

I have wondered if he will be saved.  Thoughts?

P.S. My impression is that the Pharisees are doomed, but only Jesus can say.

My thoughts are that if he sincerely repents, he will be saved. On the other hand, Pontius Pilate might have committed the unforgivable sin, in which case there would be no remorse or repentance on his part and he would be damned. Our God in heaven is fair and only He knows.

The Bible says, "It is appointed to man once to die and then the judgment."  Hebrews 9:27

Also, Pilate did not "wash his hands" of Jesus because he felt sorry for him.  Pilate was stuck between a rock and a hard place - politically speaking.  He didn't want to cause a stink with the Jews and he could NOT afford to offend the Romans.  He is not a sympathetic figure.

And he ended up despising Jesus.  That's evidenced by he and Herod who formerly didn't care for one another becoming fast friends over what they did to Jesus.

Luke 23:11-12 = "Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate. That day Herod and Pilate became friends—before this they had been enemies."

Pilate made his choice on this earth.  That choice sadly counted for eternity.

From Got Questions:

Pontius Pilate’s brief appearance in Scripture is full of tragedy. He ignored his conscience, he disregarded the good advice of his wife, he chose political expediency over public rectitude, and he failed to recognize the truth even when Truth was standing right in front of him. When given an opportunity to evaluate the claims of Jesus, what will we decide? Will we accept His claim to be the King, or will we follow the voice of the crowd?

Pilate ignored warnings to his conscience; the Scripture coverage of the solemn episode of the Lord Jesus' arrest and arraignment makes it clear...............

People are without excuse when they have been warned. We have to warn people or suffer the consequences if we don't.

Ezekiel 3:17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me. 18 If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, and I will hold you responsible for his blood."

Our reward is in Heaven and our acceptance is with God, not man.  The wicked man will still die in his iniquity. The question here is if God will hold us accountable if we do not warn them. We need to do our best to encourage people that they can live right before God. Because the enemy will try to tell them that they can't.

We actually judge ourselves.

Philippian 2

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Great passage there; it's a wonderful chapter, Philippians 2.

We may warn them but that does not mean they will take the warning seriously.
