They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” (Revelation 16:8-9) Is this proof of climate change/ global warming? That an angel will make it hot and unbearable on earth? Is the major heat waves connected? I think the answer lies in your posting already. The "scorching" is by fire, not a heat wave. But consider this. When god restored the earth in Genesis Chapter 1, He divided the waters that covered the earth into two - one above men and one making the oceans. This would have caused a Greenhouse effect - that is, subtropical climate over the whole earth. At Noah's flood God commanded the waters above to crash down on the earth. When Noah came out of the Ark, we had winter and summer for the first time. The Covenant of the Rainbow is based on it (Gen.8:22). Then, when the 12 spies of Israel spied out the Good Land, it was a Land of "milk and honey" and two men had to carry a bunch of grapes. Look at it now. There has been a huge Climate Change since Kadesh Barnea. And man .... ? He is so arrogant that he thinks he can make a change of climate. God is Lord of the weather. I have lived through four climate crisis since the early 1970s. First we had no oil, said the experts. Now, 50 years later we are swimming in it. Next, we had acid rain, and once everybody had paid the car manufacturers for their catalysts, we heard nothing more. Then came the Ozone crisis. Doom was predicted. Some unelected persons got together in Montreal and made a Treaty to replace the cooling fluid of the world's airconditioners. After a four point something billion profit we heard nothing more. Now, suddenly scientists have discovered a massive change in atmospheric temperature. When we've been taxed and closed down small businesses who can't afford the new equipment, we'll hear that the Club of Rome published numerous books, not on global warming, but on "Limits to Growth". That is, national prosperity. A pastoral society with euthanasia will be inflicted on mankind and we'll all say .. what was that? One will answer ... we had a trial run with Covid. I don't think it's connected because the other vials before it have not been poured out yet.Its probably something worse than the heat waves we've been getting. 2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. 3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
