POTUS has the bully pulpit and can cause pain in many other ways that Trump was unwilling to do because he was very worried about how he looks and what others think about him. De Santis has proven as governor of Florida that he has no problem with the media talking trash about him as well as causing pain for government agencies when they don't cooperate. Trump had his opportunity and they made him look like a complete fool and they will get a conviction on him that requires jail time even if they have to cheat and do illegal things to get that done. If a general gives an order to troops, and the troops don't follow it and it is not even reported to the general, how would the general even know until it is too late. DeSantis has no experience with people who ignore will simply ignore him if his order is on conflict with their desires. Who do you call when your troops won't follow your orders? The troops? When Trump came on the scene, nobody know all the shenanigans the deep state would pull to counter Trump... now we know what to expect and can plan accordingly. Trump has zero experience when he came on the scene so claiming someone is inexperienced is a non issue since every person getting elected to POTUS is inexperienced to be POTUS. The best person that would be the most qualified is someone who has been governor of a major state so DeSantis hasd a far better chance than the others. Once Trump gets convicted and has to do jail time... or once a bunch of states decide to not allow him on the ballot in their states making it impossible for Trump to get enough electoral votes... DeSantis will be the go to guy. But, knowing the RNC... they may very well keep Trump as the nominee after he's sent to prison and can't possibly get enough electoral votes to win.... because they seem to be working in tandem with the democrats. In the Book of Acts they suffered severe persecution and the church grew... maybe the Lord wants to go back there again to further separate the goats from the sheep and to gain new converts.
