Hab 3:19

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Psa 18:31-33

For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

Hi @itty-bitty lamb Reminds me also of Genesis 49.21:

"Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words".

Oh indeed to be someone who is enabled to speak — as a preacher; as a personal encourager — "a word in season to him that is weary" (Isaiah 50.4)!

Oh yes, very nice find.

i do love the book 'Hinds Feet on High Places' by Hannah Hurnard, and it fits well in this thread, being a story of scriptural analogies. Really is one of my favorite books. Just curious has anyone else read it?

Yes, I have. Strangely I found it tedious.

I do love that book.

“Thus far did I come laden with my sin;
Nor could aught ease the grief that I was in
Till I came hither: What a place is This!
Must here be the beginning of my bliss?
Must here the burden fall from off my back?
Must here the strings that bound it to me crack?
Blest Cross! blest Sepulchre! blest rather be
The Man that there was put to shame for me”

Yes i like that book as well!

About Hannah Hurnard's book, it seems more sentimental for me. It fell into my lap when i was a teenager and helped me through a very rough spot in my life. i can see how it would be a tedious read for someone though. It is not the greatest book out there, by far lol!
